PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive is a highly elastomeric, all purpose, trowel grade mastic that contains no solvents and bonds to most roof surfaces

BASIC USE:
Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive is specially formulated for use as a flashing adhesive to be used with the following roof types:
Built-up systems
CSPE
Modified Bitumen
Metal

Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive can also be used to repair most roof membrane and flashing defects, such as
Holes
Cuts
Punctures
Tears
Splits
Blisters
Open Laps
Fastener Back-out

Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive can be used to seal rooftop projections such as stacks and pitch pans, membrane laps, expansion or control joints, metal lap joints. flashing tie-ins and terminations, perimeter edges, drain tie-ins, gutter flanges, TV antennas, and other equipment.

Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive’s formulation eliminates the use of solvents or other volatiles such as water. This material will not shrink and it will retain its elastomeric properties for many years, providing longterm performance.

SURFACE PREPARATION: All work surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust, debris, oils, loose and/or embedded gravel, un-adhered coatings, deteriorated membrane and other contaminants that may result in a surface that is not sound.
APPLICATION:
1. Trowel apply a layer of Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive to the prepared substrate.

2. Embed flashing membrane into the freshly applied adhesive. Do not allow the adhesive to skin. Remove all wrinkles and air pockets to ensure positive adhesion

3. Terminate and secure the top edge of the flashing membrane, in accordance with the roof system manufacturers recommendations.

4. For multi-layer flashing applications, repeat process.

COVERAGE RATES: Coverage rates will vary with irregular surface conditions. Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive, when trowel applied, 1/8” thick, to a smooth surface, will have a nominal coverage rate of 12 square feet per gallon.

Available in 3 gallon containers.

SAFETY: Prior to working with any product, be sure to read labels and the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Take any necessary health and safety precautions.

LIMITATIONS: Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive should not be applied to a wet surface. All surfaces must be dry prior to application.

STORAGE: Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive can be stored at room temperature where it will have a shelf life of one year. If a skin should develop, simply remove it and use the remaining material.
WARRANTY: Millennium Adhesive Products, Inc. guarantees Hurricane Force Flashing Adhesive to be free of manufactured defects for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Millennium Adhesive Products, Inc. will replace any product found to be defective, when applied in accordance to our written instruction over approved substrates. All claims must be made in writing within 12 months of the original purchase. This warranty shall be the buyers sole and exclusive remedy.
